The Taylor Family

On 09/08/17 we found out that Steven was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. No doctors caught it. Basically the left side of his heart is not there. He is critical, they will continue to try to stabilize him. Once he is stable he will require 3 heart surgeries. There is a very long road ahead for baby Steven, his parents and sister... As of now there is no room at the Ronald Mc Donald house at Children's and Chrissy and Lonnie live an hour away... having a baby in in PICU is hard, but not being able to be right next to him is impossible... travel expenses back and forth will be impossible. The doctors are estimating his first stay in the PICU to be months. They will both not be able to work during this process in order to give both Steven and madalyn all the attention and support they need, Any help would be amazing for them.
