Honor Ernest Hart with a Proper Funeral

Ernest Hart was a 10th grade student in my classroom. It is with a heavy heart I have to say this big-hearted young man died too soon as the result of a violent crime.
This student was, by far, one of the student's with the most impressive growth this year. He grew one year in reading! He recognized he needed to walk away from negative behavior. He learned Algebra I linear equations. He always had a funny quip to make the room at ease, and helped to make our classroom truly a community and family. He stuck up for me when he thought someone was not speaking to me respectfully. He was the first student to replace his former curse word-filled sentences with crazy and funny more appropriate words.
This student was growing into a truly more mature young man who recognized the positive future ahead of him. He wanted to work harder because he knew he had to for his mom and himself.
Please help my dearest student have a proper funeral. As much or as little you can give will mean SO much.
