Help make Bryce's daily life easier

My husband Rob and I have been married for nineteen years with many ups and downs along the way. While I was pregnant with our first baby girl in 2004, my husband was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma and underwent successful radiation. After a follow-up PET scan another spot was found a year later and he underwent a successful 6 month round of chemo, and has been cancer free for 12 years. We never thought that we would be able to have any more children from the chemo/radiation. In 2010 we found out that we were pregnant with a baby boy. Bryce came into the world three weeks early, the day after Christmas in 2010 in the middle of a blizzard. He was diagnosed with Microcephaly at birth. Following months of tests and scans he was diagnosed with Polymicrogyria (too many grooves in the brain) and Lissencephaly ("smooth brain"), both of which affect the brain development. He also has a seizure disorder.He has undergone tons of test and therapy over the last eight years. He does not sit up, walk, or talk. He does smile the biggest smile you would ever see! Needless to say life is a little crazy.  Following a feeding tube placement in Aug. 2014, Bryce has gained #37 and now weighs #60. It has become very difficult carrying Bryce up and down the steps to his bedroom and bathroom. We are in need of a first floor bedroom and bathroom in order to keep Bryce and ourselves safe while transferring him in/out of bed and in/out of the bathroom.Thank you for hearing our story and your generous donation.
