My Father's Funeral

For those that know me, you know asking for help is sometimes the hardest thing for me to do. I can be stubborn which I realize now I get that from my father.
My father passed yesterday on 8/3 suddenly. We have learned that my father did not have Life Insurance and my parents lived on a fixed income together. My father was a Veteran and we are working on getting those benefits but it takes time. As a whole, we do not have the funds for this costly matter and are struggling to make arrangements to give him a proper burial.
For anyone who knew my father personally, you know what a generous man he was. My father was by no means a rich man nor a financially set man but would give you whatever he had! My father had a huge heart and was a good man deep down.
My brothers and myself are reaching out together in this matter to helpfully make ends meet to lay our father to rest. We are deeply grateful to all of you who are able to help us and my mother in this time.
