As most of you know I have been living with Multiple Sclerosis since 1988. I've had to cope some very difficult symptoms over many years and it has greatly impacted my quality of life. (including: dizziness, spasticity, pain, foot drop, difficulty with balance, fatigue, difficulty wallking, weakness, incontinence, depression, anxiety, insomnia...the list goes on.) I'm on many medications to treat my symptoms – some work, some don't.
So Keith and I discussed medical marijuana with my neurologist and apparently there has been a lot of success with MS patients, relieving a lot of the symptoms I struggle with. We are exploring all options for relief of my Mad and decided this will be important to pursue. So we are jumping through every state-required hoop and NJ has many. (an irony for people with physical limitations!) You can probably imagine they don't make it easy or affordable, nor is any of it covered by insurance.
We decided to give it 2 years to see if it makes a difference. We figured out the costs (in great detail below) and it will be roughly $9,100 to cover the first 2 years of treatment - including the state registration, multiple doctor visits, Rx renewals and the actual product - for which, prices vary greatly - again none of this is covered by insurance!
People are always asking me if there is anything that they can do to help - quite frankly $10 will go a long way. So please, if you can donate, It will make an enormous difference in my and my family's every single day.

($350 per month for Rx inlcuding monthly visit with teh doctor for renewal fees for the first year)
