3D Makers Toronto - PPE for our Healthcare Heroes
All of your generous donations will be used to fund the production of 3D Printed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that will be donated to our healthcare heroes!
3D Printing enables very cost effective ways to produce PPE but the raw materials start to add up when you are mass producing these items. The hope is to generate some funds so that we can continue to produce as much PPE as possible.
If you want to help out and don't have a 3D printer yourself, you can donate to this cause and we will 3D print for you. Your generous donation will go directly to supporting the brave folks on the front line of our healthcare system.
When I put myself in the shoes of our healthcare workers I just can't imagine what it would be like, yet they go in each and every day to support us. Many of them have to separate from their families in order to keep them safe. They are working crazy hours and always with the fear of the unknown. I am so grateful for what they are doing and when I think of being in their position and being told "Sorry, only one mask for today" or "No more face shields" I cringe, and Ijust can't stand by and let that happen.
