Medical Fund

I am having my fifth surgery in as many years on July 22. As some of you know I live with a debilitating illness called Endometriosis. For more than 1.7 million women in the world this illness is life altering; causing severe pain and other symptoms.


In the 7 years since I began having symptoms I have struggled through; misdiagnosis, multiple surgeries, extreme prescription drug side effects, restrictive diets, multiple alternative practitioners, etc. In this time the pain I experience has become crippling, sometimes leaving me unable to walk for days at a time and, most devastatingly, unable to work at a job that I love. Even when I can be at work, or functioning "normally", there is never a day when I am not in some degree of pain.


The cost of seeking out treatments coupled with time missed from work has become financially impossible. I can't afford the treatments I need to stay healthy, and I'm frequently in too much pain to work to make the money I need to pay for treatments.

I am asking for help....

I am asking for help from friends and family to attempt one more surgery with a world renowned doctor in Atlanta at http://www.centerforendo.com/. This money I am raising is for the treament itself as well as to cover the travel expenses and recovery time off work.


If you can't offer money I will be convalescing in Atlanta from July 22-27 and then in CLT for the next four weeks and would love; company, vegan food, movies, etc....
