Marissa's Recovery Fund

Greetings,

My name is Chris Kelley and a few weeks ago my sister, Marissa, was in a car accident that resulted in traumatic brain injury, leading to a coma. Since the accident, friends and family seeking to comfort me during one of the most devastating and confusing times in my life have asked me how I feel. Although I have usually responded with the standard "OK", the truth is that I feel mostly helpless. Regardless of how much I love my sister, there is very little that I can do in order to facilitate her healing process. On that front, all I can do is hope. That being said, I believe in the power of many. This is why I hope to raise money for my sister in order to make her recovery as effective as possible.

I have watched Marissa grow from a bumbling toddler to a beautiful woman with a fantastic personality. My hope is that with the help of donations through this website, Marissa will receive the optimal treatment for traumatic brain injury possible and I can watch her grow older.

My sister is one of my best friends. Even though there is little I can do during this situation for her directly, I would still like to do my best to ease the burden she has been dealt.
