Help me get my diploma and transcripts.

About a month ago, I completed my BA studies in cultural anthropology. I finished with excellent grades, and was looking forward to moving on to graduate school. A week after completing my degree, I got an email stating that my items would not be released due to a hold on my account. Upon investigating, I found that the university had dropped the ball, and neither financial aid nor student loans had been dispersed to cover the last block of classes I had just completed. As a result, there was a sizable balance on my account.
After a battle with the financial aid office, I was able to shave a good chunk off of it with federal funds. There is a remaining balance of $2100 which is to be paid out of pocket. As such, the school is refusing to release my diploma or transcripts until the balance is settled. I have exhausted all mediation and dispute avenues. This situation is holding me back from applying to and subsequently attending graduate schools, I was hoping to be enrolled in a graduate program at this juncture.
I am reaching out for funding to try to alleviate this balance in an effort make the transition to grad school, and fulfill my dreams. I worked very hard for my degree, and to not have the proof in my hands is frustrating.
In return for your graciousness, and in an effort to pay it forward, I will commit myself to performing at least 50 hours of community service. I live in southern Colorado, and there's plenty of volunteers needed in light of recent wildfires.
Thank you.
