Dad's medical fund

On August 19, 2017 David Resendiz (my dad) went to the ER and came to the discovery that his left kidney had a large tumor. After a couple of more tests the doctors came to the conclusion it was more complicated than they had thought. My dad requires a surgery that is very complicated and life threatening to remove the cancer, but it appears to have spread to neighboring lymphnodes. More tests are needed to determine if it has spread into further organs. His case is very difficult and rare. The doctor informed us that maybe a case like his is seen once a year. The surgery needed is currently being scheduled but he runs the risk of being turned down due to not having insurance to pay for the surgery. The hospital that we are trying to work with is UT Southwestern and hopefully their kidney specialists can help him. The funds that we would receive would go towards paying for his surgery and treatment post-op.  In other words this is a very urgent situation.
