Carmen's Pancreatic Cancer Fighting Fund

Donation protected
On October 15th 2012, I was diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. I went through an unsuccessful, painful surgery to try to remove the tumor. The next step would be Chemotherapy. If you never experienced Chemotherapy, you're in for a treat. It makes you weak. It makes you nauseous. It takes your energy from you. You don't feel like eating. I had to stop working in order to go to treatment. I started treatment the day after Thanksgiving. On February 11th 2013 ,my job of eight years fired me. Now I must pay the entire premium for my health insurance in order to keep up my Chemotherapy. Cobra Health Insurance is very expensive. There are high premiums, co-pays, prescriptions, etc. that are my sole responsibility. I'm still going through chemotherapy. I have very little income from Social Security.I'm not eligible for State Disability anymore.Having Cancer can be very expensive in many ways.it drains you mentally, physically and financially. I finally realized that I need help, financial help to continue my treatment. I need help so I can keep fighting Cancer. All contributions would be greatly appreciated. This is a battle that is draining me.
