Donation protected

We are planning on going to Japan on April 11-23 to help with tsunami relief.

Mission Overview
1. Help with relief work by
     a. organizing relief materials
     b. driving trucks to evacuation sites
     c. distributing goods
     d. help with reconstruction
     e. fixing nuclear reactor (you know he's driven by one once!!)

2. To be Christ\'s hands and feet in Japan and to spread His Good News. To help the Japanese church in their efforts to love their neighbors through relief work. To be witnesses of Christ to the Japanese people by showing we care about them, and that we are going to them.

3. To be an asset to the Chiba team and help take some work off their shoulders. They are tired and need reinforcements.

4. To do whatever is asked of us that is a help to the long term missionaries there and the Japanese people.

Ways to be involved:

"¢   Prayer support- pray for Kevin and several men who will be going (4/11-4/23), pray for the church in Japan and missionaries as they seek to minister and love a hurting people, pray for the emperor and leaders of the country, pray that many would find THE answer. Please also pray for our family members we are temporarily leaving behind.
"¢   Financial support- support the men going. All money will be used for travel, food, supplies for relief work and given to the local church for long term work
"¢   Consider going- there will be a long term need in Japan as they seek to clear and rebuild, many workers will be needed to serve over the next couple of years.

All donations are tax deductible through the church listed below.

*More on The Mission (Kevin\'s perspective)

As we have watched the massive tragedies unfold that have struck Japan our hearts ached for the people. In addition to the terrible physical destruction of the land, there is an even more pressing crisis in the country. Less than one percent of the people are Christian. Many were lost that will never know their Lord and Maker. Many still are missing or have lost everything they own and are left hopeless, not knowing the True Hope. Kevin and his team will be joining the relief efforts currently going on in Japan. Not just to provide tangible items like water, gas, and food; but to share the love, truth and hope of the Gospel. We see this as a huge, very strategic time in the history of Japan. A time when people are asking questions, looking for answers and are often more open to hear the Truth. Many are equating it to after WWII, a time when the emperor himself addressed the people (this does not happen often, and is BIG). Please help us flood the nation of Japan with His Word.
