Help Kerry Beat Breast Cancer

On October 15, 2015 I received devastating news that I have breast cancer. After multiple biopsies and scans I learned that it was Stage IV HER2+ invasive ductal carcinoma that spread through the breast, lymph nodes and into my neck.
Despite having insurance thanks to Obamacare, I am facing mounting medical expenses that are not covered by my insurance plan or are considered "out of network." I am even having to fight coverage of my chemo port surgery which was clearly medically necessary.
On top of all this I moved to NJ from Dallas in 2014 far away from family and friends who can help support me in my recovery. This has brought on thousands of dollars in travel costs for my family to be near for treatment and surgery.
I am humbly asking your help to support the medical costs from my treatment and associated travel expenses for my family to be here with me.
I am scheduled for a double mastectomy on April 14, 2016 and will have radiation and reconstruction in the months following. It's going to be a long year.
Any unused funds will be donated to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation to support the women who struggle with one of the most difficult forms of breast cancer and have fewer treatment options for survival. Also, I will pay this forward for anyone who is in a similar or more difficult situation.
