Hi our names are Debbie Segal and Shana Goettinger. Back in January 2012 out best friend Maggie Zeoli-Delvalle was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. Maggie had great success with her first round of Chemo and was in remission for almost 16 months. We have started this fundraising site because as of June 11, 2013 Maggie's Leukemia has come back. She is currently in Albany Medical Center undergoing Chemo. As of right now she will be in the hospital for about a month unless called to Boston before. A couple different things can happen while in Boston. She might be put into a clinical Trial or they will do a stem cell transplant with her father Mickey's stem cells. Either way Maggie will be in Boston for awhile. Maggie is one of the most amazing woman that Shana and I know and we are so lucky to have her in our lives. Maggie is married to Moses and they have a very active 5 year old daughter Josey. Her parents Linda and Mickey are simply amazing and of course her brother Frankie, sister in law Nancy and nephew Michael. Maggie is the most loving caring person anyone can meet. There is nothing she would not do for her family and friends. She has the biggest heart. Shana and I are reaching out to support Maggie and her family. Boston is going to be extremely expensive and her family will be staying with her while she goes through treatment. All money raised will help daily expenses but most importantly it will help the family while in Boston.
