My name is Meghan Maiwald, and I am the co captain and the goalkeeper of the US Women's Deaf National Team. This will be my first Deaflympics, and this one is special. I gave up my spot on the 2009 team so I could stay on track in college. So, this is redemption for me.
As a team, we are $20,000 short. I am $2,000 short with less than 30 days to go. At this point, anything helps! Help me get that Gold medal!!
