Ella es Betty Moreno, de 68 años de edad, inicio con Corona-virus (COVID-19) hace cuatro semanas, con síntomas respiratorios severos, siendo ingresada a la unidad de cuidados intensivos con diagnóstico de Neumonía bilateral, que ameritó ventilación mecánica no invasiva, con dos aportes de oxigenó(máquina hiperflujo y mascarilla con reservorio), debido a los múltiples tratamientos como antibióticos, antivirales, anticoagulantes y esteroides ha presentado efectos secundarios a los medicamentos entre ellos, hiperglicemia que amerita tratamiento con insulina, lesiones a nivel rectal y micosis orofaríngea, por lo tanto dificultad para ingerir alimentos. Llego a los Estados Unidos para pasar navidades con sus hijos y nietos, después de las festividades intentó comprar pasajes para marzo pero debido a la Pandemia no logro conseguirlos, pudo comprar pasajes para julio y lo re-programaron para septiembre, ella no reside en el país, razón por la que no cuenta con seguro médico alguno. Lamentablemente esta pasando por esta situación en donde necesita ayuda para pagar todos los tratamientos médicos y las semanas en cuidados intensivos, recurrimos a ustedes para que pueda continuar con su tratamiento médico y que en el nombre de Dios pueda salir de esta situación tan complicada en la que se encuentra y ser la mujer alegre, cariñosa y activa que conocemos.

She is currently admitted to the intensive care unit with a diagnosis of bilateral pneumonia, which merits non-invasive mechanical ventilation with the contribution of two hyper flow oxygen machines and a mask with a reservoir. Due to the multiple treatments such as antibiotics, antivirals, retroviral, anticoagulants, and steroids, she has presented side effects. Such as hyperglycemia that requires insulin treatment, rectal injuries caused by anticoagulants, and immunosuppression from medications injured her mouth making it difficult to ingest food. She came to the United States to spend Christmas with her children and grandchildren. After the festivities, she attempted to leave in March but due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), she was unable to do so. Ms. Betty was able to buy tickets for July but later were rescheduled for September. Mrs. Betty does not reside in the United States, which is why she does not have health insurance. Unfortunately, we, her family, are going through this situation alongside her. We need your help, support and kindness to pay for all medical treatments, and weeks in intensive care. We turn to you so that she can continue with her medical treatment and, in the name of God, Betty can get out of this heartbreaking situation she is in to be the happy, loving, and active woman we all know.
