Honoring Heroes at Morristown Medical Center

Health care workers look strong, brave, and resilient in the face of the unknown surrounding the COVID-19 crisis. They inspire us as they go to work every day, at great personal risk, to keep others safe.  But we all know that underneath their calm  appearance, many health care workers are barely keeping it together. They are anxious, afraid,  tired, aren’t sleeping or eating , and Yes, they are also feeling lonely.   Many chose to have their family members spend time with relatives away from them and others have isolated themselves, even within their own homes. This significant disruption could go on for months. 

The Youth Group at the Islamic Society of Basking Ridge (ISBR) has started  this fundraising campaign to give back to the health care community through the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center, a nonprofit, public foundation whose mission is to inspire community philanthropy to advance exceptional health care for patients at Morristown Medical Center, preserve and expand programs and services in patient care, clinical research, medical and public health education, and preventive medicine.

All proceeds will be delivered to the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center.
