Save Ylia

Ylia is a 6 month old girl, originally from and living in Anaba in Algeria, who needs a liver transplant.
She was born with a symptomatic hepatobiliary malformation called biliary atresia (BVA).

Biliary tract atresia (AVB) is a disease of the liver whose cause is unknown. It is the cause of irreversible obstruction of the bile ducts, these are the ducts that allow the flow of bile from the liver to the intestine. BVA affects one in 20,000 newborns. It is not an inherited disease.

The usual symptoms of AVB are jaundice (yellowing of the eyes and skin) associated with dark urine (dark tea color) and discolored stool (white, beige, or pale yellow color).

This is a medico-surgical emergency. The prognosis is linked to the earliness of the surgery.

Do not underestimate a donation of even one dollar, nor a sharing. Every gesture counts.

Here is the quote from the Acibadem group located in Istanbul, Turkey. If we raise the funds, Ylia will be taken care of by Professor Ramzi in the transplantation department:

After the transplant, Ylia will receive lifelong immunosuppressive therapy which will allow the new liver to be accepted by her body.

Her congenital disease which remains fatal if not treated in time.

If you cannot participate financially, share this pot around you as much as possible. THANK YOU !
