Legal Fees

My name is Larry Hearold. I am a 70 year old 100% disabled Vietnam veteran. In late 2011 I met a lady and in February 2012 we were married and subsequently moved to Florida. Little did I know the extent of this persons addictions to alcohol and prescription drugs but as time went on I began to see the kind of person she was and I started distancing myself from her. Although we lived in the same house she had one end, I the other. Not an ideal situation to say the least but somewhat pallatable  since I could not afford the cost of a divorce. In February this person moved out of the house and into the home of her male friend. At that time I told her to take her cats, dogs, and birds, and her belongings, and leave. She took the dogs she wanted and abandoned the rest in my care.  The male friend came to care for her horses. During the marriage I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to care for her and her animals, never complaining even though I was on the verge of bankruptcy. Yesterday, Monday April 9, 2018, I was served a restraining order based on so many lies that its unbelievable! I had to vacate my home with only the clothes on my back  and what possessions I could carry and cannot return until after the court hearing date! My friends know that I am not violent, never have been, and have never been institutionalized for any mental or other problems. My worse fault has been a speeding ticket in 2014! This person has however threatened me with bodily harm in front of witnesses in 2016. At that time I attempted to obtain a retraining order against her but it was denied since she was determined to be "no threat" to me! She has been in both alcohol and drug rehab programs and checked herself out of both prior to completion of the programs. She has used the same ploy in the past against other persons in her life.

My problem is this. In order to fight this order and be able to return to my home my attorney requires $2800 to represent me. I don't have that amount of money. I've spent the proceeds from the sale of my house in Massachusetts plus all of my savings, and maxed out all of my credit cards just trying to maintain the place with no help from her.

So I'm hoping that my friends, and maybe others that know me and my background will assist me in paying for the lawyer so that I may return to my home.
