Zach's Recovery Efforts

Donation protected

My college roommate and good friend, Zach Jenkins, was in an unfortunate aviation accident on June 11th near Amarillo, Texas claiming the life of our mentor and instructor Don Sharp. Zach was hospitalized with fractured vertebrae and ligament damage. He had back surgery on June 12th and was up and walking (on his own) on June 13th. The doctor doesn't know how he wasn't paralyzed with all his injuries. Zach is recovering at an incredible rate and is looking to head home to Indianapolis very soon. I am looking to find any help that we can get to help cover his medical and travel expenses (for him and his parents). We can use all the help we can get.

Zach is a recent graduate of Purdue University getting a B.S. degree in Professional Flight Technology. Zach (and myself) are aspiring to become airline pilots. Thank you for any help that you can provide us, it means the world to him.

Here is a recent news article from the IndyStar about the accident.
