Kim Browns Cancer Treatment Fund

Hello my name is Kasey Kyger. My family just found out recently that my mother Kim Brown (pictured above) has stage 3 lung cancer. My mother had always been a hard worker up until she found out that she had severe rheumatoid arthritis that would eventually keep her from working. My mom since then has received a small disability check due to her severe rheumatoid arthritis. Like many she can not afford health insurance. When she recently found out she had cancer she applied for Medicaid and was denied because they said she made to much money from her disability check. Which is barely enough for her to make due on. She has applied for every insurance company known to man but they all refused her coverage due to pre existing conditions. The hospital has up until now refused treatment because of her lack of insurance but through much determination we have talked the hospital into allowing us to set up a monthly payment plan. Anyone who knows my mom knows that she is the most giving and selfless person out there. For many years she has taken others into her home who needed a place to stay and given them anything she could give.
I have set up this page hoping that we could raise enough money to help ease the financial burden of the medical costs and so we can continue the medical treatment.
