On Jan 2, 2017 while watching his favorite NFL team playing their 1st playoff game in years, my brother, Jody, was severely injured in an explosion in his home. He sustained 3rd and 4th degree burns over 38% of his body. He has been in the burn unit for almost 3 weeks now and has had many surgeries already. Jody's medical expenses will far exceed our entire families financial capabilities. He will have several more surgeries and is not expected to be able to go back to work for 6 months to a year. Jody is a son, brother, uncle, father and Pappy ( his favorite title). We are asking for prayers of complete healing, prayers for relief of the terrible pain Jody endures daily, prayers of patience for his incredible nursing team, prayers of steady hands for his trauma surgeons, and prayers of peace for our whole family.
