3945 Judah Appeal
Donation protected
This will fund an appeal of the decision of the Planning Commission to approve a 5-story, 20-unit development on the corner of 45th and Judah.
Our goal is not to stop development, but rather to empower residents of the Judah corridor of the Outer Sunset to influence the way our neighborhood is developed,
The majority of respondents to the community survey (350+ and growing by 10-20 a day) have expressed the desire for the project to be one story lower (16 units with 23% affordable, rather than 20 units and 25% affordable), to increase the number of parking spaces for those who need them (families, disabilities), and to commit to a valid soil-remediation plan that addresses the EIR for the former gas station, in order to protect our ground-water supply.
The cost of appeal is $600 + $150 for additional considerations. Any funds raised over this amount, we will offer to either return or apply to future projects to create a resident-based development plan for the Judah corridor.
