Hey Friends and Family,
As you know COVID-19 has changed many things for many people. I'm currently not flying as the aviation industry has lost 90% of its business in the last 3 months and the future is unknown. I've decided during my time away from the airline to give back to my community and others by volunteering for several Bay Area nonprofits.
CORA, Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse, is the only agency in San Mateo County solely dedicated to helping those affected by domestic abuse. CORA provides counseling, emergency housing, legal assistance, and community outreach; their services are designed to provide safety, support and healing for survivors of abuse.
I need your help paying for the state mandated 40 hour training that will allow me to provide crisis intervention, court advocacy and community outreach for those individuals and families affected by intimate partner abuse. I'm not biking across the country or surfing a 40 foot wave to call attention to domestic abuse; I'm simply and humbly asking for your support so I can help others.
