The Prudence Memorial Emergency Medical Fund is a special fund based on donations to aid in the emergency veterinary care of The Cat Shack foster cats who have very severe medical conditions and need life saving but very expensive treatment. Read more about Prudence on her Website page HERE
The Cat Shack's vet bills often exceed $150/cat for normal expenses prior to adoption. For the cats that come to us with emergency medical needs the cost can easily climb into the $1000s. Without the Prudence Memorial Funds we would be unable to offer the immediate care these cats need in order to survive. Almost all of these cats come to the Cat Shack with no donations and no time to fundraise for the care they desperately need.
