Bringle Lake Mountain Bike Trail System-Texarkana
"WE LOVE TRAIL BUILDING, BUT" - We only mention this because we frequently overhear talk about how "they" are building miles of trails at Bringle. And we also get asked who is funding the project. So we would like to humbly clarify. No one is "funding" it. And "they" are only two guys with jobs, families, hobbies, and a passion for building a fantastic trail for Texarkana.
We are thrilled the city is letting us build. And we LOVE what we are doing here. And without the few of you that have donated money, materials or time, we wouldn't have made it this far.
Take the new 114ft bridge for example. It will take about 70 man hours to complete and cost over $1000.00. And unfortunately, we are out of funds and materials with 6 miles left to build. We still have 5 or 6 MAJOR bridge projects to start.
We are very proud to be the trail stewards and always enjoy meeting you on the trail. Please consider lending your support in whatever ways possible.
