Connor's 1st cycling trip to Belgium

I am excited about being able to fulfill a dream of racing my bike in Belgium. I am going on a three week junior trip with Vertex Cylcing (July 10-29, 2013). The trip is hosted by instructor Tim Redus and The Chainstay. On this trip we will become familiar with the Belgian bike racing culture and race in the kermis races available during our trip.

Why Belgium? This is where bike racing is king. The competition is tremendous. This racing experience has created great champions and I am sure to return a better bike racer.


The cost of the trip is $1800. With the help of my parents and my long hours on the lifeguarding stand, this expense is covered.


I am running a fund raising campaign to cover my plane ticket and the cost of shipping my bike. Any extra funds raised will go toward unexpected expenses.
