Corbin Hogan - Needs Our Help

Donation protected
Corbin is a 12-year-old boy who was born with Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), also known as brittle bone disease. People with this condition have bones that break (fracture) easily, often from mild trauma or with no apparent cause. Multiple fractures are very common with OI.

He has broken both arms, both femurs - the right once twice, four ribs, his right foot, his right shoulder, and fractured two vertebrae.

This past Saturday he simply slipped on the floor, breaking his femur in half and another break down by his knee.

Corbin is at the IWK now and will be there for a little while. Doctors have to assess and figure out the best way to treat his leg, potentially putting a metal rod in there to strengthen it, so he's got a long road ahead of him. He has to start the process of healing all over again, this time with his femur.

Corbin's parents both work, but like most of us are struggling to make ends meet. They don’t own a vehicle and have to take time off to stay with him in Halifax while the doctors do their best to get his leg fixed up.  The money will help pay for accommodations for one of his parents to be with him through all of this and transportation (both temporary and ongoing) as well as any accessories and assistance they may need once Corbin actually makes his way back home.

Anything to help out Corbin and his family while Corbin goes through surgeries to fix his leg and get healed up would be much appreciated.
