Help Missions in UGANDA, Africa

Hello, :)
First of all, thank you for stopping by my page! My name is Rebecca and I am a student, waitress, photographer, big sister, and follower of Jesus Christ! Since I was little I've had a fascination with the people of Africa, which led to a heart for those hurting spiritually/physically in Africa. Miraculously the Lord has opened up doors for me to travel with ten others to Uganda, Africa this coming October through Calvary Chapel Montebello! We will be helping two churches, which will be started in August and build relationships with the people of Uganda. We will also be conducting fun activities for the children such as VBS (Vacation Bible School) a long with possibly visiting prisons. In addition, we will hopefully be able to show God's love/comfort to children who were abducted and forced to participate in war against their own people. The people of Uganda have been very confused with what it means to truly know Jesus, and unfortunately have been taken advantage of by people who claim to be pastors etc. Hence, our main goal is to connect the people of Uganda with two newly planted churches, who are all about unconditional/brotherly love and desire to help these wonderful people. This trip is really a step of faith for me personally, and I am excited to be a part of the work God is doing in Uganda. The $3,000 will cover the plane ticket ($1,500 which is need by June 21st), medical insurance (just in case of an emergency), food, lodging, and supplies to help the new churches.
I invite you to be apart of the work God is doing in Africa through your prayers and financial support. Hence, if you feel impressed upon your heart to financially help with missions in Uganda then great! Every dollar counts! But, if you are not or cannot, don't trip! God knows our hearts and will provide. :) Ultimately, please pray for the team as we will be facing many challenges a long the way.
