With a heavy heart, I ask for your help. My aunt Sharon Sterdivant, passed suddenly, March 5, 2018. She leaves behind two lovely daughters ages 13 and 20. Her oldest daughter is in her third year at Jackson State University and has been exceeding since she started . You can only imagine what these girl are going through. My aunt didn't have a lot, but she made sure that her daughters were well taken care of. They were her world and everything she lived for.
My aunt Sharon worked in St. Louis public schools for over 10 years and within that timespan she managed to inspire countless number of children, that are constantly being left behind year after year.
She was passionate about her community and the people within it. She participated in the community both politically and socially. Her passion drove her to establish a camp in the inner city for children who didn't necessarily have the funds to go anywhere else. She gave them the option of participating in educational and recreational activities during the summertime. By having this option many children were able to stay out of trouble and avoid negative influences that surround our neighborhoods everyday.
My aunt was a very intelligent, strong and poised young woman, who had a lot more living to do. I truly believe she had the necessary qualities to change the world one day. Her life and legacy was cut way too short.
Anyone who knew my aunt Sharon, knows that she had a huge heart and would help anyone who needed it. Please consider helping my family in our time of need.
All donations will be used to fund a proper burial and memorial for my aunt. Any remaining funds will go to her two daughters. Every donation is very much appreciated. I thank you for taking the time to read this, and for every contribution. God bless.
