Update: on Friday January 12th, 2024, our beloved Eddie suffered a seizure that look his life while walking alone in the desert. He was found by my mother Heather, who has been through so much with him in the last 9 months of hospital stays. My mother and Eddie loved each other so much. I witnessed the power of love guide them through unimaginable suffering and she never gave up hope. We are incredibly devastated by his passing but we find great comfort in knowing he is truly at peace now.

Heather would like to hold a ceremony for Eddie to honor his life. My hope is to be able to honor their wishes by helping him transition on to his final resting place and to help my mom transition through this next chapter of her life without his physical body here on Earth.

Eddie, we love you forever. I know you are and will always be mom’s angel. We are already seeing you in the stars.

As you may already know, my mom and Eddie have been on a roller coaster of emotions over the last 7 months as Eddie's health has taken a very scary turn. About 7 months ago, his health began to decline but the doctors weren't able to figure out a diagnosis. After many hospital trips, it was finally discovered that he has a rare and life threatening autoimmune disease. His last hospital stay of 6 weeks seemed to shine some light on this horrible situation, and he was able to finally go back home to my mom. Unfortunately, though, on November 26th, he endured seizures and is in critical condition at the hospital as they await more answers. In the midst of all of this heartbreak and worry, Eddie's health insurance is cutting off in a few days. As of now, he is still in great need of medical care and my mom is doing everything she can to make sure he will continue to get the care he needs, but some things are out of our control. I would like to help my mom and Eddie out as much as possible, and any funds donated will go directly to them for medical and life expenses.
