Hi everyone my name is Lauren! As some of you know, the barn that I ride out has a program specializing in equine assisted psychotherapy! My absolutely incredible instructor, Pamela Vennare, leads these programs in which they are used to help and heal those who suffer from behavioral disorders, sexual abuse, substance abuse, family disfunction, and so so many other issues that revolve in the word around us today. For the past few years, many of you know Pam has made a huge dedication to this program and has helped so many people become confident in the things they can control. This program gives a huge reflective perspective of how we can work through difficulties in our lives by simply relating it to the mindset of the horse. Not only this, but the program is absolutely free of judgment and full of understanding of any and all situations. Throughout my time at horse n soul, it became very clear that Pam has given her everything to change the lives of others through god and using her skills for therapy and riding in general. That being said, the ability to construct a larger space in specific to our psychotherapy program has been a rocky road. With facing battles that stole the ability to reconstruct a new arena for this program, it also gave Pam the setback of building this program to its full potential. This holiday season, myself and Camryn Harvey had the idea to start a fundraiser in which all the money collected will go to this incredible therapy program in which will help so so many of our clients and future clients as well. By giving just a small portion, these proceeds will grow and help more people than you can imagine. Now, we want to keep this a surprise and hope to make the money needed in time for the holidays so we can surprise Pam! She and those in need deserve this.
