Help an Army Vet with ALS have a bathroom
Donation protected
Hello this is Debbie Krout. We are raising funds so that we can provide JC Snyder, an Army Vet who has been diagnosed with ALS. Our challenge is to raise funds to provide JC with a handicapped accessible bathroom that he can access and use. Several contractors have pledged to donate their time to construct the bathroom, but help is much needed to purchase the materials and components in order to do so.
Our goal is to raise $6,000 in funds to cover cost of items such as a roll in showers and wheelchair accessible vanity. Our hope would be to start the project in mid to late January 2024.
JC currently lives in a single story home in the Shiloh area. Having served seven years for the US Army he is now on oxygen 24/7 and will soon be confined to a wheelchair.
In spite of the challenges, JC and his family remain positive and optimistic about the future. Even though they were only married for three weeks when they found out that JC had ALS, his wife Jamie, has pledged to stay by his side every step of the way. They were high school sweethearts who drifted apart after school but reunited 25 years later and fell in love all over again.
I know that together with the support of local organizations and community members, we can make it possible for JC to have a bathroom that he can access and enjoy!
Thank you again for your time! We hope that we can partner and make life a bit easier for JC!
