<div>I'm sure majority of you are aware, earlier this year Kevin Brown was diagnosed with a blood cancer called Myeloma. Unfortunately there is no cure for Myeloma but it is a very treatable blood cancer. Although he will not be cured there are lots of treatment available to him.

<div>Kevin has been getting plenty of treatment and has had to take a lot of time off work. His sick pay ran out in June, which means his only income is statutory sick pay.
</div>
<div>This has obviously has had an emotional effect on Kevin and his family but also has had a massive financial impact whilst having to travel to Newcastle for treatment.
</div>
<div>We hope to try and ease some of the worry for Kevin and his family by raising as much as possible to help a man who has given so much to Egremont town representing both rugby clubs, crab fair committee member and even one of Santa's elves on his travels round the local areas!
