Hello family, friends and all who care X
Please help me get to volunteer in South Africa.


My name is Thasia Gauld, I am a 41 years old mother of 5 adult children.
I have raised 5 very successful, happy, kind, beautiful children. Now that they no longer require my full time attention I wish to share my talent and love with children that need it more than anyone else.
I intend to head to South Africa with the organisation GVI to volunteer 6 to 8 weeks of my time in schools and care facilities.
I will need to cover my basic costs and flights, visa etc.


I truly believe that it is a responsibility of all of us as people in this world to take care of each other given the chance. I now have the time and opportunity, I just need some help with the funds.
