Welcome to my fundraising page! I am Cassandra Bratcher Mrs. DC Exquisite 2013, and I am on the road to Mrs. Exquisite International. My GOAL is to raise $1,500 by July 31st and I need your help!! This money will go towards my mandatory accommodations and incurred expenses during the Exquisite International Pageant in August 2013. I know I have what it takes to bring the Crown to the Nation's Capital, I just need your help along the way!!
ABOUT ME: I am married to my amazing husband who is an active duty Marine stationed in Washington DC. I am an ambassador for Luke's Wings - A organization dedicated to helping our wounded Veterans in immediate need of travel tickets and travel planning services to reconnect with their families! I am also heavily involved with the Marine spouse community in assisting with launching new programs to support the spouses in the military community. I have been working on Capitol Hill for the majority of my career and I have pioneered ground break technologies throughout my years on the Hill.
WHAT I WANT TO GET ACROSS THE FINISH LINE: There is a real need to help our Veterans after the sacrifices they have made. I want to help ensure no soldier gets left behind. In addition to that I am going to break the common barriers within the spouse military community and get them not only comfortable once they get to their stations but build REAL communities outside the social sphere. Promote social interaction and encourage lifetime relationships to help them cope with deployments.
