Fighting For Bella

On March 10th, our family received the worst news possible. My beautiful 5 year old niece Bella was diagnosed with Leukemia. We know some details and the family is waiting on test results to find out more. Bella and my sister Brittny are at McMaster which will be Bellas home for the next two weeks if not longer. Bella's dad, Adam will be going back and forth between their younger daughter Leah in Welland, the hospital, and work. Bella is the oldest daughter to my sister Brittny and her fiance Adam. She has a 3 year old sister named Leah and the bond between the two of them is undeniable. Bella is the best big sister, always looking out for her. Her passion for animals shines through in her love for her pets, Bear and Olaf. She loves spending time with her family and friends and she especially looks forward to her sleepovers with nana and poppa! Bella is the most sweet natured, gentle little girl with the biggest heart of anyone I know. She always looks out for her classmates, forever the little helper that she naturally is. Her smile lights up any room. Bella is also strong willed and a fighter, which is why we have no doubt that she will beat this! Bella had her 1st round of chemo yesterday and handled it like the trooper she is. This first month of treatment is going to be aggressive, followed by at least 5 more months of treatment at McMaster. 2 more years of treatment follows, with monthly visits to the hospital. Bella is very lucky to come from a large family with lots of support and love. Unfortunately love and support does not begin to reduce the financial burden my sister and her family are now in. All funds raised will go to support my sister and her family with any costs for: Transportation Food Lost wages/bills Child care for Leah Overnight accommodations closer to the hospital for Brittny, Adam and Leah Medications not covered by OHIP Any other unexpected costs as they arise. Our family is forever grateful for your support. Words can not even describe the heartache we are all feeling right now. Please help our beautiful Bella in her fight against Leukemia!!!
