Taylor and His Mom Natasha need our help

Natasha is a single mom to a fantastic 3 year old little boy Taylor Giroux. Taylor has Short Gut/Intestinal failure & a feed intolerance. He was born at 28 wks (3 months premature). At 28 days old he crashed in a matter of hrs . His bowels had perforated due to Necrotizing Enter colitis (NEC) & had 90% of his bowels removed. He was in BC Children's hospital for 7 1/2 months before I was able to bring him home. Taylor is on home TPN ( iv nutrition ) 18 hrs a day, as well as G-tube feeds. He has had 7 surgeries & we are going in for surgery #8. Taylor has been in and out of hospital numerous times due to line sepsis, increased liver function, bowel obstruction, dehydration ,& multiple surgeries to name a few. He has been doing extremely well but has gone back to square one over the past few months. I'm hoping this next surgery will get him back on track & thriving again. Taylor may need more surgeries in the future but at this point it is unknown what the future holds for him. Taylor proves to be a fighter & continues to show just how strong he is everyday.. Throughout everything he has a great disposition & is a little charmer .. You cannot help but fall in love with him. He truly is a miracle & has been since day one.
Natasha has been struggling as her bills keep piling up she is on assistance but this only covers a small amount and with the travel and expenses for her and Taylor it is becoming very tough to even get by... Being a single mom she unable to work as he requires 100% of her care & do to lengthy hospital stays and never knowing when or if he will be admitted or for how long . She and Taylor have spent the last 5 out of 8 Months in & out of BC Childrens Hospital in Vancouver. Unfortunately her sitiuation will not be getting any better any time soon..
There is next to no help out there for moms in her situation, she is trying soo hard not to let it get to her but at the same time it's not just going to go away this is why she needs our help. Natasha's social working is helping the best she can but its just not enough.
Natasha is an amazing mother and caregiver! I am so blessed to have met this wonderful women and her amazing little guy! After a brief stay in BC Children's Hospital with my own son we shared a room with them both I learnt so much from her like any situation at Children's it is usually not for good reason to have to stay but looking at what she had been thru with Taylor and how she was handling life I new that we could do the same! She knows everything about him and I think sometimes more than the professionals she can not leave his side she is his advocate!
