WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Pawsavers rescues, trains, rehomes and provides sanctuary for special needs herding breeds. This includes deaf, blind, mobility impaired, and seniors. Our goal is to save those in need, and educate others to show that special needs dogs are just as capable of living a happy, full and normal life as any other dog. We are funded entirely through donations, adoption fees and fundraisers. We have been busy this year, and that means our expenses have been high. How much does rescue cost? Here is some of what we have been dealing with:
—We feed 50 lbs of dog food a day.
—Our costs to minimally prepare a dog medically for adoption to include spay/neuter, vaccines, heartworm test, microchip is approximately $150
—Flea control is approximately $120/month
—Senior dog care to include supplements and vet visits for acupuncture cost approximately $150/month
—Euthanasia including cremation costs approximately $200
—A trip to the ophthalmologist for a consult on a vision impaired dog is $200
—Vet visits for various illnesses or conditions; well, you know how much that can be!
—My most recent bills in the past few weeks include $450 for spays/neuters, $240 for a euthanization, $250 for heartworm tests, $240 for flea control
We need your help! Please consider a donation to help us help the dogs.
$35 will buy a bag of dog food.
$50 will sponsor our rescue costs for a day. $120 will buy us flea control for a month. $150 will pay for a senior dental.
If you can’t donate, please SHARE and ask your friends to make a donation on your behalf. If you would like to make a monthly donation through the end of 2019, please put a note on your payment or message us and we will invoice monthly.
