On Wednesday, February 14, Charlotte was diagnosed with Acute lymphocytic (or lymphoblastic) leukemia (ALL). She was promptly admitted to the hospital and immediately received chemo treatments. She has also undergone spinal taps and bone marrow testing.
Charlotte's journey will be a long one. Each treatment lasts 21 days and it is undetermined how many treatments she will need at this time. She will be out of work for an extended period and will be relocating to Ft. Lauderdale to be closer to the support of her family.
Charlotte remains positive and in good spirits, and when asked what she needed, she simply replied "prayers."
