Athletic Fees

As a consequence to Doug Ford’s drastic cuts to tuition this part year Laurentian University has had to make the hard decision as to cut their athletics program altogether or to raise fees.  A raise in fees has been decided meaning that fees this year are much higher than before.  Some other sports teams at the university have low costs, however, because the swim team is a tier 1 team it is forced to pay high fees meaning that the cost to athletes is also higher at a cost of $551.  Fundraising and donations have allowed us to cut this cost down to $468, however, this is still a high price for students who are going to school full-time, participating in varsity sports and working.  I am starting this go-fund-me as a way to allow those who might be interested or willing to help sponsor my swimming year this year to do so.  I appreciate your support
