Help me fight discriminatory practices, retaliation, and actions of racist, sexist, and hate mongering hacks, doctors, and organization

I am asking for assistance to help me allay some of the legal costs of fighting a major hospital conglomerate in New York City known as Mount Sinai Medical Center.

I experienced pervasive harassment from white males during my tenure as a physician in the pathology residency program. Despite this harassment, I completed 3 of the 4 years of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency. This is to say that I have been working non-stop to educate myself and excel for a better life for myself for over 15 years. At Mount Sinai Medical Center, as part of the Pathology residency program, I performed over 65 autopsies (from many of which they have removed my name), 1000s of intraoperative consultations, worked on diagnosing over 20000 surgical pathology cases including 1000s of biopsies. I also worked at Elmhurst Medical Center, James J. Peters Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and Englewood Hospital, and all without any incident or patient care related issue. I prepared myself for a career in Pathology and laboratory medicine over the 3+ years of my residency by educating myself, attending national conferences, and thru research and review of medical literature on my cases and for final diagnosis. I am respected and trusted by my supervisors and colleagues for honest assessment of surgical cases and autopsies.

However, during the period of residency, I was subjected to pervasive and severe harassment from a white male peer (Samuel McCash) and white supervisors (Alan Schiller, Patrick Lento, John Fallon, and Melissa Pessin). My report of this harassing discrimination based on protected classes of gender and race to appropriate individuals within the hospital only lead to justification of the actions of my peer and disparate and derogatory treatment of my caucasian supervisors and furthermore, active participation of institution in retaliation and furthering discriminatory practices against me. The fact that the Caucasian male was lying was abundantly clear, and his abusive behavior was part of a pattern of attacks against me. The response by my supervisors were to attack me, despite the fact that others have come forward to substantiate my side and spoke up for me. However, there was no action taken against the perpetrator and in fact, the perpetrator was promoted and given a variety of accolades that was further substantiated by Caucasian supervisors and other leadership of the hospital.

In contrast, the treatment of me involved unjustified harassment and discriminatory actions, and the fabrication of preposterous claims against me, which I was not informed about at the time. The hospital and it's leadership imposed harsh and severe actions against me only, while allowing the perpetrator to succeed (graduate and take board certification exams, and provided good references). My request to stop the harassment and disparate treatment against me was met with illogical and irrational defense of their actions and increasing harassment, even falsely referencing religion to justify their actions.

Meanwhile, Mount Sinai Medical Center has condoned alcohol consumption by this coworker and other Caucasian doctors while involved in patient care, and did not take any actions against any of these individuals, despite having a supposed zero tolerance policy for imbibing on hospital premises during patient care related activities. The hospital has changed their standard rules of conduct to accommodate these Caucasian coworkers and supervisors on a number of matters, both illegal and unethical, while constantly penalizing me for even the minutest of perceived wrongdoing.

The Mount Sinai Medical Center is an organization that discriminates against individuals despite belonging to protected classes and seemingly more so, because they belong to protected classes. They provide the peer comparators who are not in the protected classes and already privileged with exponentially more opportunities and thereby, promote disparity as an institutional policy.

I assumed that they had no interest in preserving my rights, and as an individual and a physician, my ethical and moral obligations are to my patients, myself, colleagues, and the institution. For example, I was told that I may quit if I essentially did not 'jump up and down on my head' when they asked me because of the alleged strict hierarchy and conservative club. Trust me that's not taught in medical school curriculum and in fact, this logic and teaching has been subjected to an overhaul and debunking.

Over the course of past 3 years, they threatened to terminate my employment without any basis, they threatened and compromised my safety, they threatened my supervisors who they felt were not "jumping up and down on their head when asked", they cost me employment opportunities, they created false and punitive evaluation to cause me great economic, financial, and personal damage, among other horrible actions taken against me. I requested to transfer out of my employment at Mount Sinai Medical Center but they would not assist me and continued to threaten me for reporting a pattern of harassment that had escalated and endangered my safety.

The Mount Sinai Medical Center conducted a severe and pervasive hate campaign against me because I reported discrimination and blew the whistle on issues that compromised patient care and integrity of medical profession especially, the role of pathology at arriving the correct diagnoses. The hospital and its' agents in the quest to defame me has continued to confabulate and fabricate matters to prevent me from being able to take advantage of economic and career opportunities following my termination. The hospital's legal would not allow the verification of the practical work and years of residency that I had completed in the Pathology Residency program. Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC continues to demean, marginalize, denigrate, and forcefully segregate me into a belittled category despite the glaring fact and reality are that I am a brilliant and competent young woman physician of Indian Descent who deserves the same opportunities as Caucasian coworkers.

The Mount Sinai Hospital has consistently devalued my work and taken away from the credit for the work that I had completed to justify their actions against me, which also included preventing me from obtaining the American Board of Pathology certification in Anatomic Pathology. I had discovered that they had removed my name from 100s of Pathology reports including Autopsies and Surgical Pathology cases to justify them not allowing me to be eligible for Board exams among other motivations. The actions of this organization to take away opportunities from me are racist and sexist discrimination and retaliatory. The refusal to give me credit for the work that I performed is racist and it continues even today with continued obstruction from Mount Sinai Medical Center to advancing my career by construction of punitive reference by a doctor who was not even practicing pathology and was allegedly hired to "fire me". He made derogatory statements to me, was unprofessional towards me, and misinformed me on a variety of matters. In an ultimate act of further retaliation, they have claimed that I am unsatisfactory at patient care, professionalism, and interpersonal communication to derail my career and justify continued obstruction to actual economic and intellectual advantage.

In contrast, what has happened to Caucasian coworkers and supervisors who were harassing me. They have went on to work with one another at major institutions in NYC and metro area, another individual fired from the hospital for numerous issues has went onto hold a similar leadership position in Hawaii, another coworker obtained a highly sought after fellowship, and others have maintained their employment at Mount Sinai Medical Center, which continues to receive unchecked medicare and NIH funding that ultimately pays their salaries.

, The degree of insidious evil at this organization is disturbing when you consider that one of their missions is to be provide medical care to a diversity of people from all backgrounds. If this can happen me, no minority or woman are safe at Mount Sinai Medical Center. There is no question in my mind regarding the subpar care that is provided at this hospital to patients based on what I have seen, news reports, review of court documents, and other factual data. This is also not an organization that takes responsibility for their actions. The leadership, Drs. Davis and Charney are both psychiatrists and are also experts at PTSD, which most likely, and it's opined among some that fact may actually allow them to attack employees in a orchestrated manner to cause damage to the individual being targeted, among other matters related to delivery and information dissemination related to critical aspects of health care (http://www.cchrint.org/issues/psycho-pharmaceutical-front-groups/dbsa-advisory-board/ http://articles.courant.com/1992-10-10/news/0000111433_1_post-traumatic-stress-disorder-veterans-affairs-office-veterans-administration-medical-center http://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/mad-in-america/201012/the-glaxosmithkline-ghostwriting-documents-part-two http://www.ahrp.org/infomail/05/05/19a.php).

Boycott Mount Sinai Medical Center for health care and avoid it. Write to congress and ask for accountability of NIH and Medicare funds given to this hospital. For example, the chairman of pathology department, Carlos Cordon-Cardo at Mount Sinai Medical Center did not do a residency in pathology but he is currently chair of department that alleges to have the most number of surgical pathology samples. In addition, Carlos Cordon-Cardo was involved in faulty science that was used to create several companies, IMPATH, AUREON Biosciences, that have been epic fails, besides being involved in fraud that lead to incarceration and fines. According to NIH he has been funded to a tune of over 20 million dollars for research, much of which has lead to mismanaged companies that bilked cancer patients.

The mention of circumstances of my situation to the average citizen usually follows in questions directed at me in this manner: can't you get a job elsewhere? why don't they let you take a job elsewhere? why would they not verify you records? why are they interfering with your economic opportunities, isn't that illegal? why don't you take the Anatomic Pathology board exam already? I often have to explain at length that these are the same concerns that I have had and that the institution does not feel beholden to the rule of law and common decency in their racist, sexist, and retaliatory quest to denigrate, demean, marginalize, and devalue a woman physician of Indian Descent.
