Mexico Mission Trip 2013

Hello,
This is our first time using a site like this and we are excited to see God do His work with this technology. My daughter Allyson (11) and I are returning to Mexico to participate in a home build for a single mother named Eliza Aguilar Garcia. She has 2 boys and 1 girl. Sergio Aguilar 12 years old (male) Luzmali Aguilar 6 years old (female) Nemias Aguilar 5 years old (male). The youngest boy is Nemias and he has a skin condition that requires a significant amount of treatment. Over the past several months the local group that we are partnering with has been helping her take him to appointments with a dermatologist in San Quintin every month and also helping with cost of medications.
She is now living in a rented room in the Las Aves development, She has worked hard to buy a plot of land and now that she owns the land we can move forward with building a house for the family. It is very close to the Las Aves community center. Since she is both paying on a lot AND renting, her finances are very difficult. She speaks mostly Mizteco, not much Spanish.
Allyson and I are eager to help. Part of the requirements for participating in this trip is for us to ask for the money from others so that we are sent there by you as your representative. I am being humbled by this. I have put off starting this campaign out of my pride. I would much rather pay this money on my own than ask you, however this is how God has designed this. So that I will be humbled and that I will be your representative, not my own. If you are lead to donate, know that Allyson and I and the rest of the team will do all we can to represent you in a way that will make you proud. God has called Allyson and I to return to Mexico Will you partner with us?
A trip like this will be an incredible blessing not only to us, but I hope also to those who provide encouragement and prayerful support that we will greatly need. We realize the tremendous need and have to rely on God for His wisdom and strength. There are so many things that need to get done in order to make this trip successful. Therefore, We are asking for your prayers. Here are a few specific needs:
· For the necessary preparations to ensure a successful trip.
· For the hearts of the Mexican people to be open to us and to Christ.
· For wisdom and strength in participating in this endeavor.
For God to:
· Teach us flexibility and openness to a different culture.
· For the raising of our financial support.
· For my family while I'm away.
As we are acting as missionaries, we are responsible to raise our own funds of $2000. This will cover some of the materials for the house build, travel expenses and our room and board. If you can join us in this special ministry through your prayers and financial support, we would appreciate your generosity. Thank you for allowing us to share with you this privilege we have to serve the Lord, and thank you for your care, interest, and prayers.
