 <strong>Walking 35 Miles for Men’s Mental Health</strong>

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 In March 2026, my life changed.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Following a trauma-related incident at work, I was signed off and began what has been the hardest five months of my life. During that time, I experienced the highs and lows that so many people facing mental health struggles know all too well. There were days when I questioned everything.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 In June, I reached my lowest point. I experienced thoughts that no one should ever have to face. Thankfully, because of the incredible love and support of my amazing wife, I found the strength to keep going. She helped me win that battle, and for that I will be forever grateful.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 That experience made me realise just how important it is that we talk about mental health—especially men’s mental health.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Too many men suffer in silence because they feel they can’t speak up. There is still a stigma attached to admitting you’re struggling, and that needs to change. If sharing my story helps even one person realise they’re not alone or encourages them to ask for help, then it’s worth it.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 To raise awareness and money for three incredible emergency services charities, I’m taking on a challenge that will push me both physically and mentally.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 <strong>The Challenge</strong>

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 I’ll be walking over <strong>35 miles</strong> across London in a single day, <strong>visiting 10 football stadiums</strong>.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 <strong>The planned route is:</strong>

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 * Arsenal → Tottenham (4½-5 miles)

</div>

<div>
 * Tottenham → Leyton Orient (4½-5 miles)

</div>

<div>
 * Leyton Orient → West Ham (2 miles)

</div>

<div>
 * West Ham → Charlton (6-7 miles)

</div>

<div>
 * Charlton → Millwall (1 mile)

</div>

<div>
 * Millwall → Chelsea (7½-8½ miles)

</div>

<div>
 * Chelsea → Fulham (1¾ miles)

</div>

<div>
 * Fulham → QPR (3 miles)

</div>

<div>
 * QPR → Brentford (4 miles)

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 The exact walking route is still being finalised, but it’ll total around 35 miles, all completed in one very long day.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 It’s a lot of walking… but living with poor mental health is an even bigger challenge.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 <strong>Where Your Donations Will Go</strong>

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Every penny raised will be split equally between three fantastic charities that support the people who dedicate their lives to helping others:

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 * <strong>The Ambulance Staff Charity</strong> (Registered Charity No. 1163538)

</div>

<div>
 * <strong>Fire Fighters Charity</strong> (Registered Charity No. 1093387)

</div>

<div>
 * <strong>Police Care UK</strong> (Registered Charity No. 1151322)

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 These organisations provide vital support to emergency service workers and their families when they need it most.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 <strong>Follow the Journey</strong>

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 I’ll be documenting my training, the build-up and the challenge itself on TikTok:

<div>
 If you’d like to walk alongside me for part of the route—or even the whole thing—I’d love the company. Just send me a message on social media or WhatsApp, and I’ll share the details once everything has been confirmed.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 <strong>When?</strong>

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>28th September 2026 - start time TBC
</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 <strong>Thank You</strong>

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Whether you can donate £1 or £100, share this page, or simply take the time to read my story—thank you.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 Your support will help fund three amazing charities, raise awareness of men’s mental health, and hopefully encourage more people to have the conversations that could save a life.

</div>

<div>
 <br />

</div>

<div>
 No one should ever feel they have to fight their battles alone.
