My heart is in Africa! After adopting our daughter from Ethiopia, my dental team, including my wife and I, had the opportunity to serve the needs of the people in Ethiopia during a Christian Dental/Medical Mission. Three years...I feel the call to do it again. After praying about it and gaining the support of my wife, the plan is to serve again in November. As an added bonus (Thank you Lord!), I will be close to the area where my daughter was born so I might have a chance to help her community!
I have witnessed first hand the effects of the lack of health care in Ethiopia, and believe me, it's tough! As much as 80% of the health issues existing in that country are actually preventable! Many only require clean water or basic medication!
I think we can help...I think we all should help!
During the time that I'll be serving in Ethiopia I will need to close my dental practice and leave my wife to attend to our family and our office. There will be no income produced while I am away.

Shortly after making the decision to serve in Ethiopia, I had to undergo 2 different surgeries under complete anesthesia. I am feeling much better and feel that I am physically ready to move forward. During the same time I was having my surgeries, my youngest daughter (a beautiful girl from China) was diagnosed with two unrelated medical conditions that will also require surgery. The first one is scheduled for this month (Sep) in Tulsa, OK and the second will be in Oct. While we are blessed that none of our situations are life threatening, it has been a financial strain on our family. Any donation will greatly help! Thank you and God Bless!!!
