I am a Disabled Veteran with a family.
The picture is me and my older autistic boy at the NIH Cafeteria. We were there to visit the autistic Sesame Street character Julia.
After the past year devastated my finances, I am sinking in debt. I am being hit from all sides. I owe over $20,000 in back mortgage. Air-conditioning needs replacement, plumbing needs repair... And to top it off, my Son needs extensive care for mental illness.
I am strong, I will get back on my feet. But what will the consequences be to our future?
