Lori Hurst’s Funeral & Finances

My siblings and I have organized this fundraiser to bring some financial relief in this unfortunate time of need.

On Tuesday, May 9th, 2023, our mother unexpectedly passed away.

13 years ago (when we were 7, 11, and 15 years old) she was in a car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury. She fought every day since to hold on to the parts of life she lost due to the injury. She was a bright light in the world - always cracking jokes, loved to sing (very loudly), and could make friends with anyone. She was a daughter, mom, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend. None of us knew our last moment with her would be our last. We are in shock, disbelief, and absolutely heartbroken. We lost our grandmother 4 years ago and are trying to find peace that they are together now.

Our goal is to cover the cost of our mom’s funeral, private autopsy, and any unpaid bills. Donating even a little helps and we are grateful for your support during this time.
