Robert Morse - Medical Needs Fund

Donation protected

Our story begins on November 6th, 2016. My fun-loving, jokester husband, Robert, was 28 days into a civilian deployment to Afghanistan with the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Robert had only been "in country" for about 10 days, when he suddenly started vomiting, with no other symptoms. He visited the base clinic, where the doctor suspected a virus. That made sense, so the doctor treated it with anti-nausea medications for about a week with no relief from the almost constant vomiting. An EGD was performed, where a mass was discovered in his esophagus. Thru further scans, testing, and biopsies, it was determined that Robert has Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. Mind you Robert has NONE of the 'usual' risk factors for this cancer, so to say we were blindsighted is a gross understatement. After transfers to Germany, on to the States to Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland, then on to Little Rock, AR, Robert is home with family now. Since being home, Robert and I have been meeting with a wonderful surgeon and oncologist, who are working tirelessly to get Robert where he needs to be nutritionally, emotionally, and physically. We have a long uphill battle to fight, and with God's grace, we will win!! Several things have given us set backs physcially, and now we are facing increased financial burdens due to insurance exclusions. So many of you have already been very generous to our family in many different ways, and I say Thank you. Please know it pains both myself and Robert to be in a pickle, so to say, financially, but thats where we're at. Please be in prayer for Robert, for complete and total healing, and if you are able, please consider blessing our family with a donation to this medical fund. Thank you and God Bless!
