Mission Trip to Guatemala

On June 24th, Sarah
and I will be heading to Guatemala as part of a team of missionaries going to
Eastern Guatemala. This weeklong mission trip will be reaching out to and serving in villages in which nearly 3 out
of 10 children die of starvation due mainly to drought. Projects our team will
work on include:
Building hen houses
Planting fruit trees
Planting vegetable gardens with drip irrigation systems
Distribution of food, clothing, shoes, toys, vitamins and bibles
Free medical clinic day
Repair homes/huts
Visiting hospitals and orphanages to pray and deliver toys
We need your help. First, please pray for us and our fellow team members. We need prayers that God will prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of Eastern Guatemala.
Another way you can be involved is to help provide financial support through the site. Your funds will help cover our travel expenses and any additional money raised will be donated to Outreach for World Hope.
Finally, in addition, to the prayers and financial support request, we are holding a drive to collect items to take with us. We are each allowed a 50 pound suitcase, so we want to fill it up! We are specifically collecting formula, jeans (used, good condition), and onsies. Please contact me to arrange for delivery or pick up of any items.
