Hello everyone... THIS IS WOODY and Joey is coming home from the hospital after months of care and therapy. He is doing better but still has a tough road ahead of him to full recovery. As you know Joey has had and will have no income at all until he is well enough to find a new job. While it will be difficult, I think that I might be able to cover his daily needs like food, shelter and basic everyday needs in order to continue my support for him in his recovery. He has other financial needs that are so VERY important to his recovery that I am unable to cover, that maybe as a team (there are so many of us who love him) we might be able to assist him with.
Most importantly, Joey will need his medications. The cost will be an on going expensive expense until he get his job with insurance.
While Joey does not currently have the strength to drive, the doctors say he will soon and as you know, he will need his car to find a new job. His car loan is 4 months behind and is in jeopardy of repossession any day.
His car insurance is past due as well and will need to be paid to maintain the car.
I do not have a bed for Joey and I will need to purchase an inexpensive frame, box spring and mattress that he will have a bed to sleep in.
The list is long and I am mentioning just a few to give you an idea of how difficult and surely important the next few months will be for Joey to get through.
Joey will most likely want to kill me for asking this, but Can You help? I set this up ONLY because a few you on Facebook suggested it mentioning that this would be a great way to reach everyone who might be able and want to help Joe's recovery cause. As little or as big a donation as you can spare BUT DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED. This is not charity but just us helping a friend and ALL money will be used to support Joeys recovery. I know these are hard financial times for all of us and like I said, Joey will most likely kill me for doing this, but I just can not imagine what it will be like for him coming home to so many issues without the help of his friends. I've set a goal of 3000.00 because that would cover the basics of the car and insurance and maybe a bed. If we go over that goal... GREAT that makes it just a bit easier for Joey.
